Litter Schedule at Alderwood

When the pups are 4 weeks we send an email to everyone on the primary list, telling folks they have one week to place a deposit on the pup of their choice. If a monetary deposit ($100) is not received by the time a pup is 5 weeks old, the pup is available to folks on the "Secondary Choice List" in the same email fashion as the primary list. The Secondary List are all the folks that would like a pup from a particular litter but the Primary List (8 pups) is already full. Some of the primary list folks may have been waiting 4 months, but who knows, they may have got tired and bought somewhere else....... things change!

Starting at age 3 weeks I post individual pictures and weights on the website. There are 8 primary choices per litter, see an example at  Reservation Page, each will get an email on the day the pups are 4 weeks old, choices are on a first come, first served basis, they then have a week to put a deposit on the pup of their choice. On the day the pups are 5 weeks old everyone on the secondary list gets an email, choices are on a first come, first served basis, they then, have a week to put a deposit on the pup of their choice (of the remaining pups). I open sales to anyone when the pups are 6 weeks old. I have had folks parked in my driveway waiting for the email to go out (I don't take any deposits until the email goes, so everyone is on a level playing field).

So to recap, the 8 primary choices are insured of a pick, after that the remaining pups are available for the folks on the secondary list, choices are honored in the order deposits are received. Deposits may be placed in person or using a PayPal button next to the pups picture on the website.
